Winemaker Peter Prager Notes

The fruit for this robust Petite Sirah, came from our estate vineyard
located in Saint Helena. The wine was then aged for two and a half years
in American oak, along with an additional three years in the bottle. This
long-term aging was necessary to allow the fresh-pressed berries and
tannins to soften. The results being a full-bodied wine with aromas
of blueberries, raspberries, cinnamon and flavors of spiced cherry and soft
tannins that is framed in with a hint of sweet toasted oak.
